The 6 clues to finding Minerals are:
- Hardness-is when the rock is on the scale and its 1-10 for E.g Diamond is 10, Hardness is used for resistance to being scratched.
- Lusture-is when the rock is very shiny,It depences on the what kind of mineral it is.
- Coulor-is when it has layers of coulors, when the rock has changed a different coulor it sometimes means the mineral in the rock has changed.
- Cleavage/Fracture-is when there is cracks in the rocks.
- Crystle Sturcture-is a set of atoms arranged in a paticular space.
- Streak-is when you streak it on a tile and it shows the coulor it is, and if there is a scratch its called streack.

Igneous Rocks
Igneous rocks are called Fire rocks, They are formed under the ground ( Intrusive), or Above the ground ( Extrusive). They form when melted rock, Called Magma, Deep in the earth, and then gets sucked in pockets.
Sedimantry Rocks
Sedimant gets thicker and thicker, The sediment that is under gets crushed, from the weight, what this called is compaction, Sedimentary rock is made out of loose materials like plants, animals, dust, ect.
Metamerphic Rocks
Heat and preussre can change alot in the rock, This rock forms in the earth, were pressres are high. Chemacail reactions can cause one type of rock, into anothor type of rock, this rock can change into these rocks: Igneous, and Sedementary rock.
